Youth Congress leader hacked to death at his home in Karnataka days before wedding, family watched in horror

What Happened

Fairoz Khan Pathan, 32, a Youth Congress leader, was hacked to death at his Dharwad home Friday night. Three to four attackers assaulted him with sharp weapons in front of family members. His mother and sister sustained minor injuries intervening. Assailants reportedly fled after stealing mobile phones. Police Commissioner N Shashikumar said Mohammed Shah and associates are named accused. CCTV footage captured the incident. Pathan was scheduled to marry April 24.
