Yogi lays stone for Ambedkar statue beautification project for all UP districts

What Happened

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath virtually laid the foundation stone for beautifying and conserving 75 statues of Dr BR Ambedkar across all districts on his 135th birth anniversary. The first phase will cover one statue per district, followed by all public statues. The government is also developing the Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar International Cultural and Research Centre in Lucknow, with the first phase nearly complete by July.
