India's Women's Reservation Bill will be introduced in Parliament on April 16. The bill operationalizes 33 percent reservation for women in Lok Sabha and state assemblies. Lok Sabha strength increases to 850 from 543 seats. The bill uses 2011 Census data for constituency redrawing. It amends Article 81 of the Constitution. Three separate bills address delimitation and Union territories. Implementation begins immediately without waiting for next census.
