What Happened
Pimpri Chinchwad police arrested a 27-year-old woman, Basrin Mehboob Shaikh, for allegedly murdering her six-year-old son Awez with her partner Ram Vinayak Kajewad. The two drowned the child's head in a bucket and hit his head against walls and ground, then claimed cardiac arrest to family members. Autopsy revealed injuries. Police launched manhunt for the partner. The woman was charged with murder and criminal conspiracy.
