What Happened

IAS officer Vibhu Goel was appointed Additional Chief Electoral Officer on Monday. He will serve as the single point of contact between the Election Commission, Appellate Tribunal judges, and Calcutta High Court in West Bengal. His responsibilities include coordinating instructions, managing infrastructure at tribunal venues, monitoring appeal uploads, and handling judge queries and grievances during the Special Intensive Revision exercise.
