
Uttar Pradesh will experience temperatures exceeding 40°C this week due to sustained dry conditions, according to the Meteorological Centre, Lucknow. Maximum temperatures are expected to rise 6-8°C, while minimum temperatures will increase 4-6°C. Prayagraj and Jhansi already recorded 37.6°C on Saturday. Westerly winds providing daytime relief will weaken after April 12, intensifying summer conditions across the state.
