What Happened

Ukraine's Veterans' Theatre, founded in 2024, trains servicemen, wives, and widows as playwrights in a four-month program. Participants write autobiographical plays about war wounds, amputations, captivity, and grief. The plays are performed at graduation, then staged at other Ukrainian theatres.
