What Happened

Two women BJP leaders, corporator Rohini Chimte and former corporator Rajashree Kale, engaged in a verbal argument at Pune Municipal Corporation over a four-storey girls hostel under construction in Baner. The Rs 6.58 crore project, designed for backward community and tribal girl students, has completed most civil work. Kale accused Chimte of demanding money from contractors. Chimte denied allegations, claiming she only inquired about a damaged compound wall.
