What Happened

Advocates Amar Jain and Rahul Bajaj, both blind, established Justice Connect in Delhi to offer free legal consultations via phone every Thursday. The initiative addresses barriers to legal aid including fees and stigma. Starting with disability certification queries, it expanded to cover diverse legal issues. The founders built support through a WhatsApp group connecting law students and volunteers, creating Mission Accessibility to serve underprivileged individuals and persons with disabilities.
