A Vadodara pan parlour owner survived a kidnapping and attempted murder plot orchestrated by his wife and her lover in April. Assailants rammed his two-wheeler, abducted him, assaulted him, and threw him into a canal near Anand district. Police arrested the conspirators after the victim revealed details. The gang allegedly withdrew Rs 1 lakh using his ATM PIN.
