What Happened
Trinamool Congress alleged April 9 that AJUP chief Humayun Kabir received ₹1,000 crore from BJP to mislead West Bengal Muslims. TMC shared a sting video from December 2025 showing Kabir discussing a covert understanding with BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari. According to the video, Kabir allegedly agreed to support BJP if it won 100-120 seats, receiving Deputy Chief Minister position. Kabir denied all allegations. He recently left Trinamool to form AJUP.
