A lifejacket worn by Titanic survivor Laura Mabel Francatelli sold for £670,000 ($906,000) at Henry Aldridge & Son auctioneers in Devizes, England on April 18. The first-class passenger's garment, one of few surviving Titanic lifejackets, far exceeded estimates of $339,000-$475,000. An anonymous telephone bidder purchased the historic artifact, significantly surpassing its 2007 sale price of $118,643.
