What Happened

TISS replaced traditional student union elections with a new decentralized Student Council format in February. Around 80 class representatives were elected instead of the previous seven-member executive body. However, two months later, students report confusion about the council's structure, committee assignments, and how to route concerns. Elected members formally requested clarity from the administration. The OSA said the process is complete, but students say recent meetings failed to resolve key issues.
