What Happened
A third-year mechanical engineering student at IIT Kharagpur, Jayveersinh Dodiya from Ahmedabad, reportedly jumped from the eighth-floor rooftop of his hostel on Saturday morning. He was rushed to BC Roy Technology Hospital where doctors declared him dead. Police registered an unnatural death case and investigation is ongoing.
