Thane tragedy: 11 killed, two injured as van collides with cement mixer

What Happened
Eleven people died and two were injured in a head-on collision between a van and cement mixer on Raita bridge in Thane district, Maharashtra on Monday at 10:45 am. The van was traveling from Kalyan to Murbad. Eight men and three women were killed. Two injured were hospitalized at Ulhasnagar central hospital. Six victims have been identified. Traffic on the Kalyan-Ahilyanagar road was temporarily disrupted.
