TechCrunch is heading to Tokyo — and bringing the Startup Battlefield with it

What Happened

TechCrunch is partnering with SusHi Tech Tokyo 2026, Asia's largest innovation conference, held April 27-29 at Tokyo Big Sight. TechCrunch's Isabelle Johannessen will judge the SusHi Tech Challenge pitch competition. The winner receives ¥10 million and automatic entry into TechCrunch Disrupt Startup Battlefield Top 200. The conference expects 60,000 attendees, 750 startup exhibitors from 60 countries, and features 62 corporate partners including Sony, Google, and Microsoft.
