Synagogue in Tehran ‘completely destroyed’ in US-Israeli attack

What Happened

US-Israeli strikes destroyed the Rafi-Nia Synagogue in central Tehran, according to Iranian media. The synagogue was damaged when an adjacent residential building was attacked. A Jewish representative reported Torah scrolls were buried under rubble. The overnight attacks killed at least fifteen people across Iran. Six bodies were recovered from rubble in Pardis, east of Tehran. Nine people died in Shahriar, west of Tehran province.
