The Supreme Court will hear on April 10 a plea by a man challenging Ghaziabad Police's investigation into his 4-year-old daughter's alleged rape and murder. Chief Justice Surya Kant scheduled the hearing after senior advocate N Hariharan argued the postmortem showed sexual assault but police only registered charges under murder laws. Hariharan sought investigation transfer, stating no proper probe has occurred. The court previously set up a special investigation team for a similar case in Gurgaon.
