
The Supreme Court directed the CBI to investigate allegations that Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu's family received public contracts worth ₹1,270 crore from 2015 to 2025. The Court ordered a preliminary inquiry within two weeks and a status report within 16 weeks. The probe will examine contract awards to Khandu, his brother Tsering Tashi, and step-mother Rinchin Drema. The State must provide all relevant records within four weeks.
