Students at IISER-Mohali suspended a three-day strike on Thursday after the administration agreed to hold fresh discussions. Protesters demanded rollback of entry-exit and gate pass policies, removal of CCTVs from residential areas, and single rooms for third-year BS-MS students. Students also complained about inadequate Wi-Fi, poor food quality, and lack of clean drinking water. Tensions escalated when faculty members allegedly drove vehicles through crowds, with one incident injuring a student's foot.
