Sri Lanka repatriated 238 Iranian sailors on Tuesday after they were stranded for over a month. The sailors came from two Iranian vessels: the Iris Dena, sank on March 4 after a US submarine torpedo strike, killing 104 sailors; and the Irins Bushehr, which requested dock permission after engine malfunction. About 15 sailors remained to operate the Bushehr. Sri Lanka granted 30-day visas and housed the crew in military camps, maintaining its non-alignment policy.
