What Happened
Police and intelligence agencies are investigating a cultural event at a government boys' hostel in Pune where students danced to a song allegedly glorifying Maoist leader Madvi Hidma, killed in November 2025. Eleven students, mostly tribals from Gadchiroli district, performed the dance. Officials say students chose the song because it was popular in Vidarbha and had good music. No charges filed yet.
