Shipping traffic through the Strait of Hormuz has barely resumed following a US-Iran ceasefire announced Tuesday. Only five to seven vessels transited daily, compared to the usual 120-140 transits. Over 600 vessels, including 325 tankers, remain stranded in the Gulf. Analysts expect maximum 10-15 daily passages if the ceasefire holds. Both sides accuse each other of violating the agreement regarding safe passage and freedom of navigation.
