What Happened
Lucknow Police arrested a 34-year-old driver and his associate for allegedly killing his 16-year-old daughter over her refusal to end a relationship. The girl was strangled and acid was poured on her face before her body was dumped in Barabanki on April 14. The father filed a missing complaint two days later.
