Long lines formed outside tribunal centres in West Bengal as voters whose names were deleted during revision sought reinstatement ahead of Assembly elections on April 23 and 29. Protests erupted in Basirhat alleging wrongful deletion of approximately 700 voters. Residents reported submitting documents but still having names removed.
