Seafarer’s death: Bombay HC seeks DG Shipping’s stand on family’s plea

What Happened
Bombay High Court directed the Directorate General of Shipping to respond to a petition seeking DNA testing of remains belonging to Indian seafarer Dixit Solanki. Solanki died in a missile strike on vessel MKD Vyom off Oman's coast during West Asia conflict. Only bone fragments returned to India. Family's advocate stated ship captain provided inconsistent information about Solanki's status since March 1.
