Sanju Samson scored his first century as a Chennai Super Kings player against Delhi Capitals at Chepauk on Saturday. The 52-ball innings, featuring 14 fours and 3 sixes, marks his fourth IPL ton and the tournament's first century this season. Samson, who struggled initially with scores of 6, 7, and 9, also partnered with Ayush Mhatre in a 100-run stand. The Kerala wicketkeeper joined CSK for Rs 18 crore last year.
