Daniel Moreno-Gama faces attempted murder charges for throwing a Molotov cocktail at OpenAI CEO Sam Altman's San Francisco home Friday at 3:37 a.m. Prosecutors say the attack was planned, not impulsive. A recovered document listed other AI executives, board members, and investors. Moreno-Gama later arrived at OpenAI headquarters, threw a chair, and threatened violence. Federal charges include explosives possession and unregistered firearm. A second attack occurred Sunday.
