Global LNG supply has tightened due to Strait of Hormuz closure and Qatar plant attacks, reducing supply by approximately one-fifth. Bangladesh and India face higher LNG costs and reduced fertilizer sector supply. India previously rejected Russian LNG from blacklisted projects but recently purchased Iranian oil.
