What Happened

An investigation by Indian Express and ICIJ reveals a counterfeit cancer drug racket in India involving Keytruda, an immunotherapy drug costing Rs 1.5 lakh per vial. Police found that empty vials were refilled with antifungal medication and resold at discounted prices. A 56-year-old woman near Chandigarh received fake drugs from a hospital. Twelve people, including distributor Neeraj Chauhan, were arrested. The Enforcement Directorate initiated a money laundering case.
