‘Rabid’ dog on biting spree injures 36 wedding guests, pedestrians in Badaun

What Happened
A stray dog with suspected rabies attacked 36 people at a wedding function in Badaun, Uttar Pradesh on Monday morning. The animal subsequently targeted pedestrians and a cow. Residents killed the dog on Tuesday. Victims received anti-rabies vaccinations at a community health centre; three serious cases were referred to district hospital for observation.
