Probe: Projectile that killed 2 kids in Manipur ‘fired from close range’

What Happened
A rocket-propelled shell killed two children in Tronglaobi Awang Leikai village, Bishnupur district, Manipur on Tuesday. Security sources indicate the shell was fired from approximately 100 metres away, suggesting involvement of local elements. A country-made launcher and military-grade shell were recovered. A 31-year-old man died Wednesday from bullet injuries during subsequent mob attack on CRPF camp. Three suspected UKNA cadres were arrested.
