Twenty-year-old Priya Ghanghas won the 60kg gold medal at the Asian Boxing Championships in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, defeating North Korea's Won Un-gyong 3-0. Ghanghas, from Bhiwani district in Haryana, trained under coach Mahavir Singh at the Sports Authority of India Training Centre. She progressed through district and state titles before claiming the continental championship. Her coach emphasized technical improvements and rigorous daily training.
