
Petrol prices in India remained at ₹103.54 per litre and diesel at ₹90.03 per litre on April 8, unchanged despite global crude oil fluctuations. Oil prices dropped significantly after the US and Iran agreed to a two-week ceasefire. Brent crude fell 16% to near $95 per barrel. Indian oil marketing companies face under-recoveries of ₹24 per litre on petrol and ₹104 per litre on diesel.
