Uttar Pradesh completed a 166-day Special Intensive Revision exercise on April 10, 2026, removing 2.04 crore names from electoral rolls. The deletions represent 13.21% of voters before the process began in October 2025. The state had 15.44 crore electors initially. The draft list in January showed 2.88 crore deletions. Over 84 lakh voters were added, bringing total electorate to 13.39 crore.
