What Happened
Over 100,000 devotees gathered at Sri Varaha Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple in Andhra Pradesh Monday for the annual Chandanotsavam festival. The sacred 'Nijaroopa Darshanam' ritual revealed the deity after sandalwood paste removal, performed once yearly. Governor P. Ashok Gajapathi Raju and Home Minister V. Anitha offered silk garments to the presiding deity during the early morning ceremony.
