Noida protests: Some industrial units resume operations as workers return

What Happened
Two days after violent protests, some Noida factories reopened Wednesday with returning workers. Police conducted flag marches in hotspots including Sector 88 and Phase 2. District officials visited industrial units and inspected conditions. UP government raised minimum wages: unskilled workers from Rs 11,313 to Rs 13,690; semi-skilled from Rs 12,445 to Rs 15,059; skilled from Rs 13,940 to Rs 16,868 monthly. Officials ensured salary deposits by the 10th monthly with provided slips.
