The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation will introduce QR codes on road name plates across Mumbai's 19,000 named roads. Scanning these codes will direct citizens to an AI-powered dashboard with information about personalities after whom roads are named, plus local history. BJP corporator Tejinder Singh Tiwana proposed this digital museum initiative to raise awareness about lesser-known eminent figures and heritage areas. A similar 2021 plan did not materialize. Officials plan to involve city historians.
