Meta released Muse Spark, its inaugural AI model from Meta Superintelligence Labs, on Wednesday. The model marks Meta's first step toward restructuring its AI efforts after CEO Mark Zuckerberg expressed dissatisfaction with Llama's performance versus OpenAI's ChatGPT and Anthropic's Claude. Meta recruited Alexandr Wang, former Scale AI co-founder, to lead the new division and invested $14.3 billion for a 49% stake in Scale AI. Muse Spark uses multiple AI agents simultaneously to solve complex problems faster and is available via web and Meta AI app.
