According to royal writer Hugo Vickers' new book, Meghan Markle vetted every public speech Prince Harry made starting October 2018, months after their wedding. Vickers claims observers noted Harry's speeches had a Californian tone and he appeared uncomfortable. The book also alleges Markle was reprimanded by Queen Elizabeth for rudeness to Windsor gardeners and banned cars from nearby sports grounds visible from Frogmore Cottage. Vickers states Harry initially sought a half-in, half-out royal arrangement but was rejected at Sandringham.
