What Happened

A six-year-old parakeet named Bebe went snorkeling underwater in the Bahamas using a custom submersible device called the 'Bebosphere.' The device uses a paintball air cylinder, oxygen meter, and lead weights. Owner Steven Lawyer created it so Bebe could join his snorkeling adventures. Video of Bebe calmly exploring three feet underwater went viral. Lawyer says Bebe was intrigued, not distressed. Bebe has also completed fifteen skydives with Lawyer.
