LPG cylinder prices in India have increased due to supply disruptions from the West Asia conflict affecting the Strait of Hormuz shipping route. Domestic 14.2 kg cylinders rose ₹60 in March. Commercial 19 kg cylinders increased ₹144 in March and ₹200 on April 1. India imports 60% of LPG needs, with 90% of imports currently disrupted.
