What Happened
Four inmates from a Haryana de-addiction centre died in a vehicle accident near Maur, Bathinda on March 21. Families allege police inaction, stating no arrests made despite registering FIR against centre owner Ranjeet Singh and associate Arun Kumar sixteen days later. The inmates were allegedly sent without parental consent to pick another addict fifty kilometres away.
