What Happened
Israel's military stated it killed Ali Yusuf Harshi, nephew and personal secretary to Hezbollah leader Naim Qassem, in an overnight Beirut airstrike Thursday. The strike occurred after a US-Iran ceasefire deal. Israel launched over 100 coordinated strikes across Lebanon, killing approximately 250 people Wednesday. Iran responded by closing the Strait of Hormuz. Pakistan mediated the ceasefire agreement.
