Eighteen Senegalese football supporters convicted of hooliganism during January's AFCON final pitch invasion in Morocco deny wrongdoing. A Moroccan appeals court upheld their three to twelve-month prison sentences on Monday. The fans claim they were forced onto the pitch by surging crowds or to avoid projectiles and spitting. Senegal won the match one-nil but CAF reversed the decision, awarding Morocco the title. The Senegalese Football Federation appealed to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
