What Happened
A passenger on Vande Bharat Express from Ahmedabad to Mumbai found an insect in a meal supplied by M/S Brandavan Food Products. IRCTC imposed a ₹10 lakh penalty on the vendor and terminated its contract. The kitchen was sealed for deep cleaning and pest control. This follows a similar incident last month involving worms in curd.
