Iran's new Supreme Leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei is recovering from severe facial and leg wounds sustained in an airstrike that killed his father, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, according to Reuters. The 56-year-old has remained out of public view since February 28. He participates in meetings via audio conferencing and remains mentally sharp. US-Iran peace talks in Islamabad ended without agreement on Sunday. Mojtaba may appear publicly within one to two months.
