
Lebanon declared a national day of mourning after Israeli attacks killed at least 254 people and injured over 1,165 in one day. Prime Minister Nawaf Salam vowed to use diplomatic resources against what he called the "Israeli killing machine." Israeli PM Netanyahu and US Vice President Vance said Lebanon was not included in the US-Iran ceasefire. However, Pakistani PM Shehbaz Sharif, who mediated the deal, claimed it covered Lebanon. Iran's Foreign Minister warned Washington must choose between ceasefire or continued war.
