Iran plans to allow maximum 15 vessels daily through the Strait of Hormuz under a ceasefire agreement with the United States, according to a Reuters report citing Russia's TASS news agency. The strait, 34 kilometers wide between Iran and Oman, handles about one-fifth of global oil supplies. Iran closed it after US-Israeli strikes on February 28. Pre-war, the strait accommodated 140 ships daily.
