What Happened

Iran's judiciary released the seized assets of women's football team captain Zahra Ghanbari after she withdrew her asylum claim in Australia. Ghanbari was among seven team members who sought asylum in March following the Women's Asian Cup. Five players, including Ghanbari, returned to Iran and received a hero's welcome.
